About Andrea Rains Waggener

 

Andrea Rains Waggener is the author of three books, Healthy, Wealthy & Wise—52 Life-Changing Lessons For the Twenty-first Century, a self help book of inner qualities to develop for a quality life; Alternate Beauty, a novel about an obese woman who wakes up in a universe where fat is considered beautiful; and Dog Parenting—How to Have an Outrageously Happy, Well-adjusted Canine, a how-to book that gives dog lovers all the information they need to be the best dog parents on the block.  Andrea left the legal field in 1989 to pursue a career as a writer.  She’s a former newspaper columnist who writes and publishes e-books, e-zines and website content focused on living your best life. 

 

Although she’s been accused of not yet growing up, Andrea is a responsible woman in her forties.  In spite of battles with depression and food addiction, Andrea enjoys feeling and looking far younger than she is.

 

Andrea lives with her husband, Tim, and her dog, Muggins, in a small town on the Washington Coast.  She and her husband love working and playing together.
